| What is Sportscout? | ||
| Sportscout is a social networking website dedicated to the
world of Sport. You will find pages dedicated to the major UK sports,
as well as general pages where you'll find everything else. Our Basic Membership costs just £1.50 (one off registration fee) and automatically enters you into our Sportscout Database for the opportunity to be scouted by one of our Sportscout-approved Scouts. It also gives you to access to a great range of sports-focused stuff including forums, games, Tradeitz - our online marketplace, event and tournament noticeboard, and much more! Our Gold Membership is a paid-for subscription service which allows our Gold Members upload a video demonstrating their sports skills to our Sportscout Database. And what's more, every Gold Member's video is guaranteed to be viewed by one of our Sportscout-approved Scouts. |

| To report a user for misuse, please email us at misuse@sportscout.co.uk giving full details of the incident so that we can investigate further. We take all instances of misuse very seriously and will ensure a full investigation is carried out. | ||
| What do you do if a user misuses the website? | ||
| When we receive a report of misuse, we will carry out an investigation into what has happened. Our course of action following this investigation will depend on the nature and seriousness of the incident. | ||

Minor incidents may include use of swearing / insults on forums etc. In case of a minor incident, | |
| the user will receive a warning which will be recorded against that user in our records. In serious | ||
| cases of repeat offending, the user may find their membership cancelled. | ||

Major incidents of any nature (e.g. inappropriate conversation, serious abuse, etc) | |
| will be taken very seriously. The user will have their membership cancelled immediately, | ||
| and if an incident constitutes a crime, the contents of our investigation will be passed on to the police. | ||

| How much does basic membership cost? | ||
| There is a one-off registration fee of £1.50 to register
for basic membership on the Sportscout website. Taking this payment allows
us to make sure your parents have given you permission to use the site,
without restricting your access. If you upgrade to Gold Membership within the first year of registration, we'll give you double the registration fee back! That's just £6.99 for one year's Gold Membership subscription (normal price £9.99). |

| What is a basic profile and who will see it? | ||
| When you register with Sportscout, we ask you for some personal
details (name, address etc) which our for our records only and will not
be publicized. You can then create your own profile with information about
you, your sport, photos, and more. Your profile can be viewed by other
players throughout the site. A profile displaying limited information
about you and your sport is entered into the Sportscout Database, where
it may be viewed by Sportscout-approved Scouts. Please note we cannot
guarantee that your basic membership profile will be viewed by our scouts. You can choose who views your profile from the following: |

Gold Membership |
||
| What does Gold Membership include? | ||
| Gold Membership is a paid-for subscription service offered
by Sportscout. As a Gold Member you can upload a short two-minute video
demonstrating your sport skills which is attached to your profile in the
Sportscout Database. You are limited to one video per profile, but you
can change this video as many times as you choose during your subscription. The Sportscout Database is used by scouts to look for potential players for their teams, to take part in the Sportscout Trials and more. If you are selected by a Sportscout-approved Scout, Sportscout Ltd can act as your agent and help promote you to clubs across the UK. We guarantee that every Gold Member video will be viewed by one of our Sportscout-approved Scouts. |

| How do I become a Gold Member? | ||
| Simply register as a Basic Member of Sportscout and make
sure you complete the sport section of your profile. Then click on the
Gold Members link in the My Account section of the website. Follow the
instructions and upload your video to be entered into the Sportscout Database. |
||
| How much does Gold Membership cost? | ||
| Gold Membership - £9.99 per year to upload your video
to the Sportscout Database which is guaranteed to be viewed by one of
our Sportscout-approved Scouts. If you upgrade within the first year of your registration for basic membership, we’ll give you a £3 discount! |

| Who will see my Gold profile? | ||
| Your Gold Profile will only be viewed by Scouts who are
pre-approved and thoroughly checked by Sportscout Ltd. |

| What are the Sportscout Trials? | ||
| The Sportscout Trials are held each year for the top seven
players in each age-group from the Sportscout Database. The selected participants
will be invited to attend the one-day Sportscout Trials event, where they
will play a series of matches. These matches will be watched by a number
of Sportscout-approved scouts and coaches who will select players to be
represented and promoted by Sportscout Ltd. Sportscout Trials will be held in each county across the UK. |

| What sports are included in the Sportscout Trials? | ||
| At present we are only offering Sportscout Trials in Football.
As we expand this service, Sportscout Trials in other sports will be announced
on our website. |
||
| How are Sportscout Trials participants selected? | ||
| Sportscout Trials Participants are selected using the Sportscout
Database, where our expert coaches will view profiles and watch videos
to find Gold Members with the potential to develop within their sport. |

Trade Itz |
||
| What is Trade Itz? | ||
| Trade Itz is our online Marketplace, allowing you to trade
sports goods and more with other members in exchange for Trade Itz Tokens. |
||
| How does TradeItz work? | ||
| To begin using TradeItz, you must have a minimum of 50 Tokens
in your TradeItz account.
|
||
| To list an item: Fill in the online form
to list your item in the Trade Itz Directory for other members to view.
You need to include a description of the item, upload a picture, and decide
how many Tokens you want in exchange for it. |
||
| To buy an item: Once you have found an
item you want, simply click on the Trade button next to it to complete
the deal. Once you confirmed the Trade, this is a binding agreement, so
make sure you are happy with the deal before you click. Tokens will be
automatically deducted from your account and transferred to the Trader.
You will both be sent a message confirming the deal. Please note you must
have enough Tokens in your account before you confirm the Trade, or it
will be rejected. |

| How do I buy Trade Itz Tokens? | ||
| Trade Itz Tokens can be bought via our website using a secure
payment gateway. Simply click on the “Buy Tokens” link and
follow the instructions. |

| How do I send my goods? | ||
| Arrangements for the collection and/or postage of items traded through the Tradeitz service are made between the buyer and seller, and their parents. Sportscout accepts no responsibility for this part of the process. | ||
Scouts |
||
| How do I become a Sportscout-approved Scout? | ||
| Before becoming a Sportscout-approved Scout, all applicants
must undergo an application process. Stage One: Applicants complete the online registration form, including details of references and qualifications, and registration fee. On submitting your application, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. Stage Two: Sportscout Ltd will carry out background checks and take up references which must be satisfactory before the application is approved. Stage Three: Once the application is approved, Scouts will be posted a user agreement which must be signed and returned. Upon receipt of this agreement, your registration on Sportscout will be approved. If your application is unsuccessful, Sportscout Ltd retains 25% of the registration fee due to administration costs, and will refund the remainder. You can request details of why your application failed by contacting scout.application@sportscout.co.uk. |

| As a Scout, what can I view / access? | ||
| All Sportscout-approved Scouts have access to the Sportscout Database which includes player profiles and videos. They will also have access to: | ||

| What checks are carried out on Sportscout –approved Scouts? | ||
| As our Scouts will have access to profiles and videos of
children, we have a stringent application process for all those who want
to become Sportscout-approved Scouts. All approved scouts must have a
recognized qualification from an official coaching / scouting body (e.g.
The Football Association) We undertake to carry out a number of checks
including Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Checks, qualification checks (as
above), and a minimum of two references including at least one from a
previous or current youth sport related appointment. |

| How do I contact a player? | ||
| If you find a player you like the look of – that’s
great! To register your interest, simply click on the link provided within
the player’s profile. Once you have registered your interest, Sportscout Ltd will contact the player on your behalf. With the permission of the parent or guardian, Sportscout acts as the player’s representative from this point forward in any discussion, trials or signing etc. |

| How much does it cost to become a Sportscout-approved Scout? | ||
| There is an annual charge of £100 for access to the
Sportscout Database. Your registration fee is payable at time of applying to become a Sportscout-approved Scout. If your application is not successful, Sportscout Ltd retains 25% of the registration fee as administration costs, and will refund 75%. |

| Sportscout has its own dedicated section where youth sport
clubs can access dedicated sport sections and post their events and tournaments.
